ReplyDeleteThe movie that I plan on using for it, is Miracle At St. Anna. My research topic is Buffalo soldiers, and how they aided in WWII. I decided to use this topic because, no one really knows about Buffalo soldiers, or more importantly, what role they held during the fight against Nazi-Germany. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1046997/
ReplyDeleteThe movie I chose is Shindler's List. My topic is the Deth Camps that were used durring the Holocaust. I decided apon this topic to make everyone 100% aware of exactly what happened in those camps to ensure that it will NEVER happen again.

The book that I chose to use as a resource for my project is "At Dawn We Slept". The author does a great job discussing the topic of the Pearl Harbor incident that happen in 1941 even though the novel wasn't published until 1991 I could definitely say it’s a must read. I locate the book over the internet as was going through a site called Amazon .com, which is very popular to people in our society.
ReplyDeleteThe Movie i chose to watch is The Boy In the striped pajamas. I chose this movie first because it is a world war 2 movie and second because it was made in 2008 and it will be easy for me to watch being as though it is made in our time. I am basing my project around the concentration camps during WW2.
ReplyDeleteThe movie, "Inglourious Basterds". I chose this movie because it shows a great deal of information through an allies perspective. Not through a third person or a government offical, but someone on the front lines and is making a difference.

ReplyDeleteThe movie I chose to watch was Anne Frank: The whole story. It is just right for my topic selection. Since my topic selection is about how the holocausts even began, I though it will be a great idea to watch this movie because it explains the whole concept. It came out in 2001 and it gives a really good explanation on everything I need to know for my project.
ReplyDeleteSonia R.
The book I chose to read was Maus by Art Spiegelman. I believe that this aldult comic book will be insightful and appealing when reading about ones survival story during WWII. I think it'll give me a good look inside of a survivors mind and that is exactly what I want. I will create a blog in which I'll post daily a summary of what I've read, what I've learned, and my own personal thoughts and feelings on what I've read.
ReplyDeleteThe movie I chose for my topic is "Darfur NOW". It's about a genocide happening today. Even though my topic is about the holocaust of the past It is important that we see that it is happening in other countries right now.
